Azerbaijani FM meets UN Executive Secretary of Economic Commission for Europe
Baku, December 3 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met a delegation led by UN Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Europe Sven Alkalaj.
They discussed the current state of and prospects for development of the Azerbaijan-UN relations.
The two described the signing of the Visa Facilitation Agreement between Azerbaijan and the European Union as a positive step towards the cooperation with the organization.
The UN Executive Secretary said the organization attached great importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan.
They also stressed the importance of expanding legal document basis between the two sides.
Mr Sven Alkalaj praised the favorable business conditions created in Azerbaijan for the investors, saying the country attracts the foreign entrepreneurs.
