AZERBAIJANI JAZZMAN REACHES INTERNATIONAL MONTREUX FESTIVAL FINALS
Azerbaijani jazzman Shahin Novrasli has reached finals of the 41st International Montreux Festival in Switzerland, press service of Azerbaijan`s Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.
Shahin Novrasli entered the top four list after his brilliant performance in the semifinal that featured twenty-six musicians.
Novrasli’s piano will speak again the fascinating language of the Azerbaijani jazz in the final competition against Austrian, French and Cuban jazzmen on Wednesday.
Along with Novrasli, Azerbaijan is represented in the festival by such renowned musicians as Salman Qambarov, Fakhraddin Dadashov, Ruslan Huseynov, Mirjavad Cavadov and Natig Shirinov.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfaz Qarayev is also in Montreux.
