Baku, June 5 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov has today met Kazakh counterpart Vladimir Bojko on the sidelines of the 7th International Conference on Disaster Risk Management in Gabala.
Mr. Heydarov said that the two friendly countries were successfully cooperating on all fronts, including prevention and elimination of emergency situations.
The Minister noted Azerbaijan was interested in participating in joint trainings held at the Caspian Sea.
The Kazakh Minister said that the international conference held in Gabala was very productive. Bojko said Kazakhstan was ready to cooperate with the Azerbaijani Ministry in a variety of fields, including application of high technologies and fire safety.
Vladimir Bojko hailed the organization of the international conference by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations as an indicator of the country’s economic potential.
