Azerbaijani Minister of Energy meets his Lithuanian counterpart
Baku, June 5 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Natig Aliyev has met his Lithuanian counterpart Jaroslav Neverovič.
Mr. Aliyev said Azerbaijan attached great importance to boosting cooperation with Lithuania. He also highlighted successfully developing relations between the two counties.
The Minister stressed the importance of reciprocal visits of the Heads of State of both countries in terms of developing bilateral relations.
He said Azerbaijan was a reliable partner of Lithuania, as well as the European Union in energy security field.
Aliyev praised visit of the Lithuanian delegation, adding this would contribute to relations between the two countries.
The Lithuanian Minister, in turn, stressed the role of Azerbaijan in ensuring the energy security of Europe. He said there were wider opportunities for cooperation in energy sector.
