AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND ENERGY MEETS KOICA VICE-PRESIDENT
Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliyev met with Korean delegation led by Chang Shin Cheong, Vice President of the Korean international Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
The sides discussed cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Korea as well as joint projects between the Ministry and KOICA. Mr. Aliyev underlined that Azerbaijan closely cooperates with Korean STX Company to build Gobustan wind power station. The government of Azerbaijan carries out talks with KOICA to create special economic zone, construct small water power plant and study underground reserves of Talish mountains, said Minister. Besides, project to clean oil-polluted areas of Absheron peninsula is also expected to implement with KOICA. Agreement is expected to be signed during the official ceremony of Korean Prime Minister to Azerbaijan, on May 18, added Minister.
The sides shared views on other issues of mutual interest.
