Azerbaijani MP to join PACE committee meeting
Baku, December 7 (AZERTAC). Member of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Sabir Hajiyev will leave for Paris, France to attend a meeting of the Committee on Political Affairs and Democracy of the Parliament Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) from December 8 to 12.
The meeting will feature discussions on the situation in Kosovo, Belarus and Cyprus and the role of the Council of Europe, as well as persecution of Christians and the diminishing of Christian communities in the Muslim world, particularly in Syria, counteraction to manifestations of neo-Nazism and xenophobia, and the activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in 2013-2014.
