Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker meets Kazakh counterpart

Baku, June 12 (AZERTAC). Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov has today met Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan Kabybulla Jakupov.

Kabybulla Jakupov praised cooperation between the two countries in a variety of fields. He stressed the role of the presidents of both countries and interparliamentary relations in developing ties between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Kabybulla Jakupov hailed the two countries` mutual support within international organizations.

Ogtay Asadov noted that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan had deeply-rooted bonds.

“The two countries` peoples enjoy friendly relations.”

He expressed hope that both countries would further improve the potential of the cooperation.

Asadov also thanked Kazakhstan for supporting Azerbaijan`s just position on settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
