Azerbaijani Parliamentarian to attend international conference in Brussels
Baku, December 14 (AZERTAC). A delegation headed by Chairman of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the President of Azerbaijan, MP Azay Guliyev will visit Brussels on December 15-17.
The purpose of the visit is to participate in an international conference dedicated to the results of the "Jewish life in Azerbaijan and the culture of tolerance" project of the European Jewish Union and the Congress of Jews in Ukraine, which was carried out with financial support from the Council of State Support to NGOs.
The conference will be organized with the support of the General Assembly of the European Jewish Parliament and the European Parliament.
A short film dedicated to the theme will be shown and a number of reports will be heard at the event.
During the visit, the delegation of the Council and the Head of the Civil Society and Local Authorities Unit in the European Commission Angelo Baglio will discuss cooperation on topical issues of the NGO sector.
As part of the visit, there will be meetings with a number of international non-governmental organizations.
