Azerbaijani Premier meets Serbian Defense Minister
Baku, August 13 (AZERTAC). Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade has met a Serbian delegation led by Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic, who is in Baku for an official visit.
The Azerbaijani PM hailed political and humanitarian relations between the two countries, stressing the necessity of using the existing opportunities in the economic and military-technical fields.
Bratislav Gasic said the strategic partnership between the two countries was in the interests of the Serbian and Azerbaijani people.
On behalf of the Serbian government, the Defense Minister expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for providing assistance during a natural disaster occurred in Serbia.
He noted that Serbia supported the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict based on the principles of territorial integrity and inviolability of borders.
Gasic said he had eye-witnessed rapid economic development in Azerbaijan.
