Azerbaijani President: Our policy is based on independence, justice and courage
Baku, March 21 (AZERTAC). Our policy is based on independence, justice and courage. We take all our steps in favor of interests of the Azerbaijani people. Interests of the Azerbaijani people are above all, and it must be so for every citizen. So, we have very optimistic thoughts with respect to future development of our country. We are actually creating this future, said President Ilham Aliyev in the nationwide festivities on the occasion of Novruz holiday in Baku.
The Head of State said: “Our economic and energy policy has made it possible. Necessary steps have been taken in the beginning of this year related to our future development. The State Program on social-economic development of regions was adopted last month. Due to this program, all social and economic questions will be solved until 2018.”
President Ilham Aliyev pointed out that Azerbaijan would continue to move on the way of development with confidence. The President said the State Program on social-economic development of Baku city and its settlements was also being carried out effectively. This program must be completely realized by 2016 and all social infrastructural and economic problems must be solved.
The Azerbaijani leader stressed that these programs would help the country reach great progresses. “All programs will be implemented. We have always kept our word. We have implemented all programs and will do it so.
