Azerbaijani, Russian, Iranian, Kazakh and Turkmen transport ministers meet in Astrakhan
Baku, August 8 (AZERTAC). Astrakhan has today hosted a meeting of ministers of transport of Russia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan.
The aim of the meeting was to discuss preparation for the 4th Caspian Summit to be held in September.
The ministers also discussed the implementation of a number of large-scale projects, as well as navigation in the Caspian Sea and the prevention of pollution of the Sea.
As part of his Astrakhan trip, Azerbaijani transport minister Ziya Mammadov visited a monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev.
