Azerbaijani, Tajik FMs discuss prospects for expanding cooperation over phone

On May 9, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov held a telephone conversation with the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin.
The FMs congratulated each other on the occasions of the holy month of Ramadan, as well as the 75th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The sides exchanged views over the steps taken by the countries to fight global health crisis and the importance of cooperation in this regard.
The topical issues of the bilateral cooperation agenda between the brotherly countries, the broadening of economic cooperation including the transport logistics sphere were thoroughly discussed by the ministers.
The sides also touched upon the issues of cooperation within the international organizations and agreed to enhance the existing cooperation in the coming years.
