Baku, May 23 (AZERTAC). Aviation authorities of Azerbaijan and Vietnam signed a memorandum of understanding on air communication.

The MOU was inked by president of the Azerbaijan Airlines Jahangir Asgarov and Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Vo Huy Cuong as part of the Azerbaijani President`s recent visit to Hanoi.

The memorandum will see the two countries continue negotiations to agree a draft agreement on air communication.

The draft deal stipulates that Azerbaijan and Vietnam can assign 21 passenger and cargo flights per week to each of their selected airlines till the final agreement was approved by the parties.
