Azerbaijan’s Central Bank, ADB discuss prospects for cooperation

Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of Central Bank of Azerbaijan, met with a delegation led by Rachel Thompson, Executive Director on the Board of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) representing the country.
During the meeting, the sides had a broad exchange of views on the challenges facing the global economy, the country’s economic situation and development trends, monetary policy, and the improvement of the regulatory and supervisory framework for insurance sector, as well as the sector’s potential.
Discussions also focused on future partnership opportunities between the CBA and ADB, particularly ADB’s potential involvement in Azerbaijan’s financial sector.
