Azerbaijan`s Defense Ministry: Armenian saboteur captured
Baku, August 7 (AZERTAC). “The Armenian reconnaissance-raiding groups attempted to cross the line of contact in the territory of Tovuz district at about 13:30 on August 7,” the press service of Azerbaijan`s Defence Ministry has told AZERTAC.
“Thanks to the vigilance of our units on the front line, the enemy’s attempt was prevented. Measures were taken in order to neutralize the group.”
According to the Defence Ministry, “four members of the reconnaissance-raiding party, which retreated with losses, were killed and one member, resident of Chinari village of Berd region, Karen Petrosyan, born in 1989, was captured by our soldiers.”
“Investigation is underway to uncover the group’s plan and activities,” the Ministry added.
