The Deputy Premier recalled that the UN Security Council adopted resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 on the Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict, demanding unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
“The Armenian aggression policy has been condemned in resolutions and documents adopted by the Council of Europe, Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the European Parliament and other influential organizations.”
Hasanov said the Azerbaijani government spares no efforts to improve social and economic conditions for refugees and IDPs. “Up to now 180,000 refugees and IDPs have been provided with flats.”
Head of the Spanish delegation Jose Maria Chikio said they were aware of Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan. He expressed regret over the fact that Armenia ignores relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council. The Spanish parliamentarian said they would support Azerbaijan`s fair position.
