Azerbaijan`s energy minister meets with his Saudi counterpart in Vienna

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov has met with Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Energy Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Vienna.
The sides exchanged views on the current situation in the global oil market and cooperation with Azerbaijan in the OPEC plus format. Also, the current status of construction of the 240 MW Khizi-Absheron Wind Power Plant, which was founded in January this year, was reviewed. It was noted that this project implemented by ACWA Power will contribute to the goals of Azerbaijan on renewable energy.
The sides also discussed other areas of bilateral energy cooperation of mutual interest.
