Azerbaijan’s ICT Minister visits Hungary
Budapest, November 11 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan's Minister of Information and Communication Technologies Ali Abbasov has visited Hungary at the invitation of Hungarian National Development Minister Zsuzsanna Nemeth.
The Minister first visited the University of Pannonia in Veszprem.
Rector of the University Ferenc Friedler informed the Azerbaijani Minister on the university’s history and achievements.
Minister Abbasov delivered a lecture on “Global development directions of the ICT” at the university.
Ferenc Friedler praised the Minister’s contributions to the ICT sector and presented him with the Pannonia University’s medal.
Azerbaijan’s ICT Minister also met Hungarian National Development Minister Zsuzsanna Nemeth to discuss aspects of relations between the two countries, as well as a wide range of issues of cooperation in the ICT sector.
They reached agreement to make up a protocol on basic directions of the bilateral cooperation before the Baku meeting of the Azerbaijan-Hungary Joint Intergovernmental Economic Commission.
The Azerbaijani Minister invited Zsuzsanna Nemeth to “Bakutel” international exhibition which will be held in Baku in early December.
State Secretary of Hungarian Ministry of National Development Vilmos Valyi-Nagy, Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jolt Chutora and Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Hungary Vilayet Guliyev were present at the meetings.
