Azerbaijan`s Parliament Speaker attends 9th session of PUIC
Baku, February 19 (AZERTAC). Speaker of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Ogtay Asadov has participated in the 9th session of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States (PUIC) in Tehran, Iran.
Asadov delivered a speech at the conference.
The Azerbaijani Speaker met Iranian President Hassan Rouhani on the sidelines of the conference.
The Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker and the Iranian President hailed development of bilateral relations between the two friendly and fraternal countries.
President Hassan Rouhani said Iran regards Azerbaijan`s security as its own security.
Asadov also met his Iranian and Turkish counterparts Ali Larijani and Cemil Cicek respectively.
