Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General meets his Chilean counterpart

Kamran Aliyev, Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General, met with a delegation led by Prosecutor General of the Republic of Chile, Ángel Valencia Vásquez, who is visiting the country to attend the Baku-hosted 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors.
Kamran Aliyev hailed the development of political, economic, trade and cultural relations between Azerbaijan and Chile over the past 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
Highlighting that the relations between the parties strengthened within international organizations, including the Non-Aligned Movement, Kamran Aliyev described the fruitful momentum of relations in a political sphere as a favorable basis for cooperation between the two countries’ prosecution offices.
Subsequently, Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev provided an insight into the historical importance of Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29 in November this year.
Ángel Valencia Vásquez expressed his optimism that the cooperation between the two countries would enhance both bilaterally and within international institutions.
