Azerbaijan’s swimming team has captured its first gold medal at the 3rd CIS Games.
AZERTAC’s regional correspondent reports that Ogtay Huseynov delivered an outstanding performance in the 400-meter individual medley, securing the top spot at the competitions held at the Ganja Sports Palace.
Another Azerbaijani swimmer, Egor Maynitskiy, earned a bronze medal in the 200-meter breaststroke event.
