Azerbaijan’s Victory and National Flag Days marked in Malaysia

An event marking the Victory Day and the Flag Day - the national holidays of Azerbaijan, has been held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.
Officials of the Malaysian government agencies, heads and employees of diplomatic missions accredited in Malaysia, Members of the Senate and the House of Representatives, representatives of prestigious universities, scientific and research institutions, business and public organizations, as well as Azerbaijanis living in the country attended the event organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Malaysia.
The function started with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Malaysia.
Then, a documentary dedicated to the Victory Day was screened.
Addressing the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Malaysia Irfan Davudov emphasized that under the leadership of the victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the victorious Army liberated the territories and restored the country`s territorial integrity by implementing the requirements of international law itself despite the double standards and all other challenges faced in its rightful struggle.
The ambassador provided an overview of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, large-scale reconstruction and reconstruction projects underway in the liberated territories, as well as the return of former IDPs to their ancestral lands.
The event also featured the screening of a video highlighting the residential settlements, historical, religious and cultural monuments of Azerbaijan, which had been subjected to Armenian vandalism during the occupation.
Then, the participants familiarized themselves with a photo exhibition dedicated to the Victory Day, as well as the Azerbaijani monuments destroyed by Armenians which are currently being restored by Azerbaijan.
