AZERCELL, USAID AND CISCO CLINCH DEAL FOR BARAMA PROJECT
Baku, May 21 (AZERTAC). Azercell Telecom, US Agency for International Development (USAID) and Cisco Company have signed an agreement on joint cooperation with respect to Barama project.
The agreement was signed by head of Azercell Communications and IT Department Director Orhan Buday, USAID Caucasus Mission Director Jonathan Conly and Cisco General Manager Mucit Emel.
The main objective of the Azercell`s Barama project is to provide support aimed at exploring new ideas in the sphere of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), evolving them to maturity and eventually turning them into reality. Idea’s value is defined by the extent of innovation, creativity and social-economic benefits in it.
USAID Caucasus Mission Director Jonathan Conly said “we are proud to cooperate with Azercell and Cisco to develop an IT sector in Azerbaijan”.
