AZERI AMBASSADOR MEETS REPRESENTATIVES OF DIASPORA

Fuad Isgandarov, Azerbaijan’s ambassador in the Netherlands and Ilham Mammadov, department chief of the State Committee for Azerbaijanis Living Abroad met with representatives of the Congress of Azerbaijanis in Benelux (CAB), Congress’s press service told AZERTAC.

The CAB president Sahil Gasymov spoke of his organization’s activities towards raising the awareness of the Dutch public about Azerbaijan’s realities, as well as integration into this country, problems and future plans of the Azerbaijani Diaspora.

Gasymov informed about a school, which has already started functioning to teach Azerbaijani language. He said children of other nations, alongside with Azerbaijani children, including the Dutch keen on education in Azerbaijani language in this school.

Ambassador Isgandarov highly appreciated the works of the Diaspora organization related to representing the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

The Diplomat promised to deal with the problems of the organization.
