AZERI ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN BOXING WORLD CUP IN RUSSIA

Baku, 19 December (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani athletes Rahim Najafov (54kg), Elvin Aliyev (57kg) and Farid Pashayev (over 91 kg) participate in the Boxing World Cup started in the Russian city of Khanty-Mansiysk.

The competition is dedicated to the memory of Azeri oilman, doctor of geological and mineralogical science and corresponding member of Russian Academy of Sciences Farman Salmanov.

The event brought together boxers from 12 countries, including Sweden, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan and Moldova.
