AZERI DELEGATION VISITED CUBA
The Azerbaijani delegation led by Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev visited Cuba to attend the first Cuba-Azerbaijan joint intergovernmental commission in Havana.
Speaking at the meeting, Cuban Minister for Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation Marta Lomas Morales said her country is interested in strengthening relations with Azerbaijan.
Babayev informed the Cuban Minister about reforms conducted in his country.
He said he believes the joint commission will help boost Azerbaijan-Cuba ties in all spheres.
The two countries signed a protocol on cooperation in a wide range of fields, including trade, industry, energy, agriculture, education, health, science, tourism and sports.
