AZERI FIGHTERS WIN SIX MEDALS IN WOMEN’S UNIFIGHT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The national team of Azerbaijan ranked first in the medal table of the Baku-hosted Women’s Unifight World Championship.

Azerbaijani female fighters Nazenin Mammadova (52 kg), Khanym Mammadova (57 kg) and Gyozal Zutova (63 kg) stepped onto the highest level of the tournament’s podium after defeating their rivals in the final combats.

Other members of the team Gulnara Gulmammadova (52 kg) and Irina Leonidze (under 70 kg) won silver medals, and Anna Dzadzamia (70 kg) bronze medal.
