AZERI PARLIAMENTARIANS TO TAKE PART AT SESSION OF CIS INTER-PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY
As informed from press-service of Milli Majlis, being now in St.-Petersburg, Chairman of MM Regional Questions Standing Committee Arif Rahimzade, MPs Rovshan Rzayev and Azer Ismayilov take part in work of the standing committees of the Organization.
On actions, the participants will exchange views on the topic “15-years anniversary of the CIS - results and prospects of inter-parliamentary cooperation”. Also will be discussed preparation of projects of modeling laws on combat against terrorism, protection of state borders, the status of workers of education, activity in sphere of tourism, national-cultural associations of citizens, Office of Public Prosecutor, a long-term plan of the legislation in the given area and other laws.
The Council of Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the CIS and heads of law enforcement bodies and special services of the member countries will hold joint session, devoted to questions of combat against terrorism and extremism.
Members of delegation will take part in the international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Improvement of cooperation of the CIS member states in combat against modern challenges and the threats directed against safety”.
In St.-Petersburg, also will take place the meeting of chairmen of parliaments of the countries of Southern Caucasus and Russia on which the parties will exchange views on political situation in the Caucasus, ways of settlement of regional conflicts and on other questions.
