BAKU HOSTING INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON EXECUTION OF COURT DECISIONS
The European Union’s TACIS Program and Azerbaijan’s Justice Ministry are realizing this special project to promote the court decisions executors in the country. The president of International Union of Court Decision Executors Jack Isnard, president of National Chamber of France Court Executors Paul Roshard, president of National Procedures School of France, prof. Abel Didier Pansard, representatives of a number of other foreign countries, judges, court executors and of NGOs take part at the workshop.
In action, minister of Justice of Azerbaijan Republic, chairman of the Court-Legal Council Fikret Mammadov informed on the legal-democratic reforms conducted in the country. He also dwelt on the effective steps taken jointly with the Council of Europe for modernization of judicial systems in Azerbaijan, on exclusive importance of timely and straight execution of court decisions to ensure the human rights and freedoms.
Along with this, he also disclosed the shortcomings and problems in this field, the measures to eliminate them.
Speakers emphasized necessity to study foreign experience in this sphere, the steady cooperation with the judicial bodies of developed countries, including in the frame of TACIS Program of the European Commission.
Such projects have great significance in improvement of professionalism of court supervisors and court executors, to acquire international experience.
The 2-day conference brought together representatives from France, Belgium, Bulgaria, Romania, Kazakhstan and other countries, the European Commission and European Council, who will have “round-tables” to discuss the role of judges, lawyers, attorneys in court and other questions.
