BHOS students’ project recognized best youth Startup Project of Year

The ThermoNorth project developed by a student team from Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) has received one more prestigious award. The Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan acknowledged it as the best youth startup project of the year. On this occasion, Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev presented a plaquette in recognition of this achievement to the team captain, BHOS fifth-year student Elmar Asgarzade.
The ThermoNorth project aims at developing micro-encapsulated phase change material, which helps to keep car’s engine at optimal temperature for a long time even in the cold weather. Last year, it won the national ClimateLaunchpad Azerbaijan 2018 contest and it was also recognized the best at National Innovation Challenge Azerbaijan 2018.
