Book on Justice for Khojaly campaign launched in Baku
Baku, February 26 (AZERTAC). ‘Leyla Aliyeva: Justice for Khojaly! (New strategic model against international Armenian terrorism)’ two-volume book authored by writer and publicist, Honored Journalist Vasif Samadov and Professor Rovshan Valizade was presented at the Administrative Department of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Published by CBS Polyqrafic, the book highlights the five-year anniversary of Justice for Khojaly International Civil Awareness Campaign that was launched by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Chief Coordinator for Intercultural Dialogue of the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Conference for Dialogue and Cooperation in 2008.
Speakers at the event noted that the book tells about the massacre and atrocities the Armenian armed forces committed in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh and in the town of Khojaly in late 20th century. The book also focuses on global activities carried out as part of the Justice for Khojaly campaign.
The book features photos from archives of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, a joint investigation committee set up by National Security Ministry and Interior Ministry, and AZERTAC.
