Bp presents certificates to first graduates of PREP
Baku, September 25 (AZERTAC). Bp has today organized an event to present certificates to first graduates of Petro-technical Resource Entry Programme (PREP) in Baku.
Speaking to the event, Gordon Birrell, BP`s Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, congratulated the graduates and praised the results of the first year of the program. He said PREP is a unique learning and development tool to support BP`s plans for business growth and sustainable nationalization of its workforce. He said by the end of PREP program students successful in the assessments are eligible for a Postgraduate Certificate in their chosen program.
PREP is a new learning and development program for Azerbaijani petro-technical graduates. The program provides technical knowledge and practical skills in Surface Engineering, Subsurface and Wells disciplines essential for success in BP`s global Challenge program. PREP is a long-term sustainable capability development solution for BP to meet its industry growth needs and achieve nationalization targets.
The curriculum of PREP spans an eleven month period, which is aligned to the timing of the BP Challenge program. PREP begins annually in September, run through the end of July.
PREP Learning will be delivered by world-class academics and trainers representing globally known university and prominent training provider.
