BSEC BUSINESS COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING UNDERWAY IN BAKU
Baku, 19 October (AZERTAC). Black Sea Economic Cooperation Business Council`s 38th meeting commenced today in Baku.
Chairman of the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers`) Organizations of Azerbaijan Republic (AEC) president Mammad Musayev chairs at the meeting. At his words, Azerbaijan presides at the Organization on rotation.
The Business Council`s meeting is attended by state and government officials, representatives of BSEC, the Permanent International Secretariat, PA BSEC, Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and other influential structures. The meeting is to focus on the future role of Business Council, intensification of the BSEC business activity, organization of joint actions, regional business cooperation issues, analysis of the BSEC budget of 2009 and approval of budget for 2010.
Speakers noted that Azerbaijan is the leader country of region and develops dynamically. They also underlined the necessity of member states` support for settlement of the conflicts they are involved.
The conference will end on 20 October.
As stated, Azerbaijan will transfer the presidency over the organization to Bulgaria.
