Bulgarian Embassy in Baku hosts reception on country’s public holiday
Baku, March 4 (AZERTAC). The Embassy of Bulgaria in Azerbaijan has hosted an official reception on the country’s public holiday.
The event started with the performance of national anthems of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
Addressing the event, Bulgarian Ambassador Maya Khristova highlighted the country’s development, as well as history of relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
The Ambassador hailed the cooperation between the two countries within international organizations, noting high-level reciprocal visits contributed to development of the ties.
Azerbaijan`s Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov congratulated the people of Bulgaria on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.
The Minister expressed confidence that friendly relations between the two countries would continue deepening and strengthening.
The event brought together state and government officials, MPs, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Baku, as well as representatives of the international organizations.
