BUSINESSMEN OF AZERBAIJAN AND STAVROPOL HELD MEETING IN BAKU
The meeting was opened by the head of the department of the Ministry of economic development Samir Veliyev. He has acquainted visitors with macroeconomic parameters of Azerbaijan and conducted economic reforms, has expressed a wish for participation of the Russians in spheres of tourism and processing of agricultural production of our country.
The first deputy minister of economic development and trade of Stavropol territory Victor Milenin especially noted purchase of grain among the put forward offers. We shall remind, that in 2003 to Azerbaijan from Stavropol it has been delivered 70 thousand tons of grain. The deputy minister has stated that the figure is to be reached up to 300 thousand tons in the forthcoming year. He has noted, that the representatives who have arrived to Baku from Stavropol territory, represent about 25 enterprises. Eight of the said enterprises are engaged just in purchases of grain and other agricultural products.
The deputy minister of Stavropol territory has stated that his fellow countrymen are very much interested in purchase of early vegetables from Lankaran.
Representatives of the enterprises of the sides had exchange of opinions in the field of the food-processing industry, instrument making, mechanical engineering, chemical and pharmaceutical industry, public catering and trade.
