Buta Airways plans to fly to several European cities

Kiev, September 13, AZERTAC

“First Azerbaijani low-cost airline Buta Airways plans to fly to several European cities. Presently we are conducting negotiations to this end,” director of Buta Airways Jamil Manizade has told a press conference as the company launched a Baku-Kiev flight.

He said Buta Airways is committed to developing tourism in Azerbaijan through increasing the number of flights abroad. Manizade emphasized that the number of flights will depend on the flow of passengers. He said the carrier might fly to other cities in Ukraine in future.

Presently Buta Airways carries out flights to Kiev, Moscow, Antalya, Kazan, Mineralnye Vody, Tbilisi and Tehran. Starting from late October it will also fly to Istanbul and Saint Petersburg. The first Azerbaijani low-cost air company mainly uses Embraer planes.
