Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office meets with Saudi King

Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, who is visiting Saudi Arabia, has met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at royal Peace Palace in Jeddah.
Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade extended President Ilham Aliyev` and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva`s greetings and best wishes to the Saudi King.
Allahshukur Pashazade stressed that President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan always greatly valued Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud`s friendly and fraternal support to Azerbaijan, which suffered from Armenia’s aggression.
The chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office highlighted religious tolerance in Azerbaijan. He said the fact that Baku would host an inter-faith summit this November was indicative of international confidence in Azerbaijan.
They discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries.
