CHAIRMAN OF CONSTITUTION COURT TOOK PART AT INT’L CONFERENCE IN MOSCOW
At opening of the conference, S. Sobyanin, the head of Administration of the President of the Russian Federation has read out the address by President Vladimir Putin to participants of conference.
The main topic of action has been connected with the common legal space of the Europe and practice of the constitutional justice. Discussed were connections between the European Court for Human Rights and national courts, the general criteria of the European constitutional proceedings and the new tendencies observable in activity of bodies of the Constitutional supervision, other actual legal questions.
Farhad Abdullayev in his lecture “Constitutional protection of the rights and freedom of the person in view of requirements of the European convention” spoke of role of norms of international law and judicial precedent in the constitutional practice in Azerbaijan. He has emphasized, that the legal integration developing last years on European continent, rendering influence on activity of the national constitutional courts, contributes to further improvement of the interstate judicial practice.
