CHAIRMAN OF PAKISTAN SENATE`S FOREIGN RELATIONS COMMITTEE MEETS YAP DEPUTY CHAIRMAN

s part of his Azerbaijan trip, Chairman of Pakistan Senate`s Foreign Relations Committee Mushahid Hussain Sayed met Tuesday with Deputy Chair-Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Ali Ahmadov.
Ahmadov stressed cooperation and mutual ties between the two states are deeply rooted, saying Pakistan was one of the first countries to recognize Azerbaijan`s independence. He also hailed Pakistan`s supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and stance on the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The Deputy Chair said Azerbaijan, in its turn, always backed stability and development in Pakistan and supported official Islamabad`s just stance in the international arena.
Mushahid Hussain Sayed underlined that relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan reached a strategic partnership level.
Sayed stressed Pakistan recognizes Armenia as an invader and has not established any ties with this country.
