Commemorative event on occasion of Remembrance Day held in Turkiye

An event on the occasion of September 27 - the Day of Remembrance was held in the Turkish Navy with the participation of Azerbaijani servicemen undergoing an internship in accordance with the action plan on military cooperation between the two states, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense told AZERTAC.
First, the memory of great leaders Heydar Aliyev and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, as well as the sons of the two states, who became Martyrs for the independence and territorial integrity of their Motherland was honored with observing a minute of silence.
The event focused on the historical significance of the glorious victory gained by the valiant Azerbaijan Army under the command of the victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief, the history of fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as the heroism and valor shown by the brave sons during battles.
