CONSTRUCTION OF SUMGAIT ELECTRIC POWER STATION UNDERWAY

The works to prepare the site for construction of the new combined-cycle plant in Sumgait were implemented by 80 percent, Azerenergy press-service said.

The works implemented by power station’s construction brigades and “Azerenerjikhususitemirtikinti” are said to be completed in august this year. The quality control is implemented by Azerenergy experts and Finnish consulting company “Enprima”.

To realize the project on construction of combined-cycle plant in order to develop the national electric energy sector and improve energy supply of Absheron peninsular interested companies gear for the tender.

Some European and American companies got interested in construction of Sumgait combined-cycle plant.
