Dagestani delegation to visit Azerbaijan

“Dagestan and Azerbaijan are bound together with good-neighborly relations. The Azerbaijan-Russia Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation is considering improving the quality of the activity of the checkpoints to expand the potential of the transport and logistics corridor, said Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergei Melikov in an interview with TASS.
“We are planning to visit Azerbaijan. This is necessary, first of all, to emphasize sincere relations with our southern neighbor and partner, and secondly, to elevate these relations to the next stage of development,” Melikov added.
He also noted that the Dagestani delegation is also expected to visit Iran in October to share their experiences in maritime transport.
