DELEGATION OF CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY HAS MEETING AT YAP’S HEADQUARTERS
At the invitation of the New Azerbaijan Party, the delegation of the Chinese Communist Party arrived March 27 for a two-day official visit to Azerbaijan.
The delegation led by deputy chief of the foreign relations department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party Ma Venpun visited March 27 the Alley of Honors to lay a wreath at the grave of national leader Heydar Aliyev.
The delegation also visited the Martyrs’ Alley to pay tribute to shahids who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and then laid a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
Ali Ahmadov, YAP deputy chairman, executive secretary, met with the delegation of the Chinese Communist Party. He touched on bilateral China-Azerbaijan relations and told of the YAP’s activity.
Head of the Chinese delegation Ma Venpu stressed the need for expanding ties between the New Azerbaijan Party and the Communist Party of China.
The sides discussed the opportunity of establishing ties between Youth wings of both parties. They exchanged views on the existing bilateral relations between the two countries.
Also present at the meeting were China’s ambassador in Azerbaijan Zhang Haizhou, YAP deputy executive secretaries Siyavush Novruzov and Mubariz Gurbanly and others.
