Dmitry Yablonsky`s Kiev concert sells out
Kiev, May 15 (AZERTAC). A concert of Dmitry Yablonsky, an acclaimed conductor and cellist, artistic director of the Gabala International Music Festival, in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev has sold out.
Yablonsky was accompanied by Kyiv Soloists State Chamber Ensemble.
The show featured performance of Schubert’s String Quartet No. 14 "Death and The Maiden" and Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy`s concert for violin, fortepiano and string instruments.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli was among the audience.
Following the concert the ambassador and the cellist discussed the upcoming Gabala festival.
Yablonsky thanked President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism for supporting the festival.
He also revealed plans to organize a concert of Kyiv Soloists State Chamber Ensemble as part of the Gabala music festival.
