‘Effective and safe cooperation between law enforcement agencies is crucial’

In an interview with journalists, Paul Chi Ho Lau, a representative of Hong Kong’s Independent Commission Against Corruption and participant in the 6th plenary meeting of the United Nations Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network) held in Baku, emphasized that the event is an important platform for building connections, particularly among law enforcement agencies, and is highly effective for international cooperation.
He noted that numerous crucial meetings are scheduled to take place in the coming days. “We have secure communication platforms and networks that enable us to connect with each other. Confidence in this platform is high because it ensures security and all information is encrypted. Effective and safe cooperation among law enforcement agencies is essential. We must actively support the expansion of this network in collaboration with various stakeholders,” he emphasized.
