ELECTIONS TO EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT ROUNDED
In territory of 25 EU member-states, the elections on a multi-party system have been carried out, where the countries have defined the mandates in the European Parliament, correspondent of AzerTAj in Germany reported referring to the information of the Parliament of the European Union connected to elections, that by results of voting the European people party (ЕPP) which will unit further in the European Parliament conservative parties of 25 countries - members of EU, has received 269 mandates from 732 seats in Parliament. The block of social democrats has received 199, the liberals - 66, the green - 39, the Group of united left - 37, Association of the European Nations - 26, Association “Democracy to Europe” - 20 mandates.
Elections to the European Parliament in Germany also were sensational. 40,5 percent of the population with the right to vote took part in elections. The election marathon passed in conditions of struggle of the authority and oppositions - "Red - green" and the Coalition of “Christian democrats” - free democrats, ended with victory of ХDS / XSS. Germany will be represented in the European Parliament by 88 mandates.
