Employees of Azerbaijani embassy commemorate August war victims in Georgia

Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev, Head of Military Attaché Office of Azerbaijan's Armed Forces, colonel Fuad Ibrahimov and the employees of the embassy commemorated the war victims in Mukhatgverdi Brotherhood Cemetery in Georgia to mark the 15th anniversary of the August 2008 war.
As a result of the Russia's military intervention in Georgia in August 2008, 228 civilians, 170 soldiers and 14 policemen lost their lives, and 2232 Georgian citizens were injured. 263 598 citizens of Georgia were granted the status of internally displaced persons.
