E.O.N. Vice-president: Azerbaijani regions combine modern and historical values

“I often visit Azerbaijan due to my work and I have visited Baku many times. This time we have chosen the regions of Azerbaijan as a place for recreation. Yesterday we visited Gabala, which has a very beautiful and charming nature. Today we are in the ancient city of Shaki. Regions of Azerbaijan combine modern and historical values. Beauty, modernity, sincerity and hospitality of the people in a good way surprised us,” vice-president of E.O.N. Michael Hilmer has told AZERTAC.
Describing the Palace of Shirvanshakhs, Hilmer said: "Many times I've seen this palace in photographs. But in reality it is much more interesting. The most beautiful are patterns made by small pieces of colored glass. This is a very valuable piece of art.”
The two-week summer camp for E.O.N. employees and their families was organized in Azerbaijan in partnership with SOCAR. During this period of time German children acquainted with the history and unique nature of Azerbaijan.
