Eurovision Second Semi-Final winners give press conference

Copenhagen, May 9 (AZERTAC). Last night was the night of the Second Semi-Final in the B&W Hallerne in Copenhagen. We've met the ten winners on the press conference after the event. On the same occasion, a draw took place in which half of the Grand Final each artist will get to perform. The detailed running order will be released later this night.

The following countries in the Second Semi-Final have qualified for the Grand Final of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest: Switzerland, Slovenia, Poland, Romania, Norway, Greece, Malta, Belarus, Finland, Austria, Switzerland.

The Swiss delegation was the first one to be asked a question on tonight's press conference. First Sebalter stated about being announced as the first finalist: "It was beautiful because it saved me from all the waiting time." Will he change anything in his performance for the Final? "There is nothing more to work on, we will bring the same energy in the Final as we did today and yesterday."

Switzerland was drawn to perform in the second half of the Grand Final.

Slovenia: "It's hard to say but it's a beautiful feeling", Tinkara answered when she was asked if she had expected to qualify. "It's very nice because when I went on stage I felt my whole country with me - we are only 2 million people", she said about the fact that Slovenia made it to the Final. Does it feel strange that she doesn't play her flute live? "Yes, it's strange! I was even applying for a rule change, so that I could play live on stage as the main artist."

Slovenia was drawn to perform in the second half of the Grand Final.

Poland: "I feel great, it's like magic", Cleo stated. "My song is not only about girls, it's about music", she commented on her entry. Did the Slavic part help her to gain votes? "When I was on stage I felt a lot of energy from our Slavic brothers", she replied.

Poland was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.

Romania: "I feel great, it's a beautiful feeling", OVI first stated. "Keep voting for our Miracle", Paula added. How different was this year's participation to their first one in 2010? "For us it's a great honour to be here again, and it's great to make it to the Final again", OVI replied. Would they defend their title next year if they win on Saturday? "It's a pleasure to be in Final. If you all come to Romania in 2015, I will show you around personally", Paula replied.

Romania was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.

Norway: "It's overwhelming, I am just so happy and proud to be here", Carl Espen first said. "To be honest, I didn't expect such a success. It was just a crazy idea in August last year, and suddenly we are here in this room. Carl just keeps impressing me, I am amazingly proud", Josefin Winther, the composer said. "I am really proud of her", Carl Espen added. "It was nervewrecking to wait for the results", he admitted. "I got up on the couch when Norway was announced. I was really proud", Josefin went on.

Norway was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.

Greece: "It was crazy, I was jumping about", Nikolaos Raptakis stated. "We wanted it to be like this, we want the young people of Greece to dance all the problems away, to Rise Up", they explained the message of their song. "We would like to set the record for the highest jump at Eurovision", they answered the question of a journalist.

Greece was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.

Malta: What was their first reaction after qualifying? "Aaaah! And then I called my family, my mother, my sister...", Richard Micallef replied. "I don't really mind which position. It's important for me to go there, to be on Europe's greatest platform", he stated on his desired starting position in the Final. How do they feel representing a tiny nation like Malta? "We are a small nation but big in heart, and we are happy to welcome everyone to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in November - come to Malta", they said.

Malta was drawn to perform in the second half of the Grand Final.

Belarus: "I am happy, tonight I am not 'Cheesecake'", Teo stated first. Belarus was not always that lucky to be in the Final. "I think Belarus keeps sending good artists and we prepare very well, getting better every year", he answered. Has he felt the support from Belarus? "Yes, I feel it. It's very important for me", Teo answered.

Belarus was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.

Finland: "There were only two places left to go to the Final, and I knew that one of them was Conchita, so it was a great feeling to qualify", said Topi Latukka. Will UMK, the Finnish national selection, go on after 2014? "Of course we will go on, but every year we are adjusting the format of the selection", Maija Aho, the Head of the Finnish delegation replied.

Finland was drawn to perform in the second half of the Grand Final.

Austria: "I was sitting there, looking over my shoulder, with so many great acts still waiting - Israel, just to name one. No, then I didn't expect to qualify anymore", she stated about being announced last. "I stopped singing and burst into tears. I have received so much support from the gay community, I cannot express how thankful I am", Conchita stated. "I don't want to be a woman, I am a very lazy boy at home. I created this character to show that you can achieve everything you want. I will never ever shave my beard", she explained her appearance.

Austria was drawn to perform in the first half of the Grand Final.
