EVENT ON THE DAY OF GENOCIDE OF AZERBAIJANIS HELD IN INDONESIA
An event dedicated to March 31- the Day of Azerbaijanis Genocide - was held March 29 at the International Institute For Strategic Studies of Indonesia, Embassy of Azerbaijan to Indonesia said.
Participants were informed about the history of the genocide committed by Armenians against Azerbaijanis, grave consequences of Armenia’s military aggression, and Khojaly genocide. Discussions at the event also focused on the domestic and foreign policy of Azerbaijan after regaining independence, its growing prestige, economic development and participation in the international projects.
In conclusion, the film on Azerbaijan was demonstrated. The books and DVDs about the history, culture and tourism opportunies of Azerbaijan, its economic development and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict were presented to the participants.
